Need change in Moderators

I'm planning to change moderators in the group which will definitely impact Group communication.

As of today 5 moderators(Praveen L, Rajkumar , Sivakumar, Arun Kumar, Balaji K) and 2 Group owners (Kamalakar and Phanindra) are given authority to monitor group activities but I didn't really feel like if it is happening. So thought of bringing new folks into Moderator Group otherwise others would get chance to showcase themselves among group members. GLAT group strength is 160(Approx ) and for the last 1 year not much change in group strength as we reached threshold ( Excluding Girls).

Big silence in GLAT group

Big silence in GLAT group which is not at all expected , but everyone got busy with their personal Commitments. We have to break the silence in the group donno how I can do that. Planning for GET TOGETHER V with which we can motivate group members. I'm also getting busy with new assignment so couldn't manage to prepare GLAT magazine expecting some champ to takeover but I didn't really find anyone who can take such responsibility.

I would like to appreciate K.Satish kumar for being active in the group.

My Heartful wishes to Purushotham for getting married.

Good too see that many are getting engaged in our group.

GET TOGETHER is a team effort

GET TOGETHER-IV really went in different mode, we had focused mainly on events rather than speeches as it is boring for Non-GLATians who were attending the event. We had dicussion with Non-GLATians inorder to design GET TOGETHER events.

After deep discussion with our organizing committee members we have decided to have less time for speeches as it just kills time and have more time for games and fun events and it worked. We planned such way that everyone should get involved and it worked. We all are getting ready for the GET TOGETHER-V planning... see you soon..

GLAT GET TOGETHER Date finalized - 27 Mar

Good news ! I would like to share with you all that GLAT GET TOGETHER date is finalized and we are going to have rocking moments very soon i.e 27 Mar. Hope everything goes fine and its almost an year after last GET TOGETHER. We the co-ordinators are planning lots and lots of events to make event funfilled. I request all GLATians please plan accordingly to attend the function as it is ours party. No execuses for not attending the event.

GLAT GET TOGETHER – IV getting delayed

GLAT Together is getting delayed due to Bandh and protests in Andhra Pradesh.
As most of our classmates are distributed across Andhra Pradesh so we can celebrate function when the protests calm down. As transportation by Bus/Trains plays major role in bringing us together we are not in state to finalize the date.

Actually it is planned for 26th Dec but the protests went to peak stage so we have no choice other than postponing the function date. We are planning for the Feb month and hope that everything goes fine.

As a GLAT moderator I have noticed that many of our classmates joined GLAT yahoo group and that it the reason GLAT GET TOGETHER-IV is dragging everyone’s attention. We are yet finalize the date and Venue but this time we are not inviting school teachers to the function and the function is going to ROCK.

ఎంత శుభదినమిది..! ఎంత సంతోష దినమిది..! ఎంత పుణ్య దినమిది..! ఎంత పర్వదినమిది..! ఎంతటి చరిత్రాత్మక దినమిది..!".. అంటూ స్వతంత్ర్య భారతావని విముక్తమయిన సందర్భంగా తెలుగువాణిని వినిపిస్తూ... తెలుగుజాతి మొత్తాన్ని చైతన్యవంతం చేసి, ఆలోచింపజేసిన అందరికి ఈ సందర్భంగా ప్రతి ఒక్కరం జేజేలు చెబుదాం..!!

స్వాతంత్ర్య దినోత్సవ శుభదినాన... గగనంలో రివ్వు రివ్వున ఎగిరే ముచ్చటైన మువ్వన్నెల జెండాయే, భారతమాత చేతిలో ఆయుధమైన భారతీయులకు రక్షణనిస్తుంది.

ఈ జెండాలోని కాషాయం రంగు త్యాగానికి గుర్తు. ఇది మన నాయకులు స్వలాభాన్ని విడిచిపెట్టి, తమ కర్తవ్యానికి అంకితం కావాలని సూచిస్తుంది.

తెలుపురంగు మన ప్రవర్తనను నిర్(తెలుపురంగు మన ప్రవర్తనను నిర్దేశించే వెలుగుకు, సత్యానికి గుర్తుగా భాసిల్లుతోంది.)

ఇక మూడవదైన ఆకుపచ్చ రంగు మట్టితో మనకున్న అనుబంధానికి, ఇతర జీవులన్నీ ఏ వృక్ష సంపదమీద ఆధారపడి ఉన్నాయో... ఆ పచ్చటి చెట్లకు గుర్తు.

జెండాలోని అశోకచక్రం ధర్మపాలనకు గుర్తు. సత్యం, ధర్మం అనేవి ఈ పతాకం క్రింద పనిచేసే ప్రతిఒక్కరి నియమాలు కావాలి.

చక్రం చలనానికి, చైతన్యానికి గుర్తు. జీవముండే ప్రతిచోటా చైతన్యం ఉంటుంది. చైతన్యం లేనిది చావులోనే అనేది గుర్తుంచుకోవాలి. భారతదేశం ఇకమీదట మార్పును స్వాగతిస్తూ ముందుకు సాగిపోవాలనేదాన్ని సూచిస్తున్నట్లుగా ఉండే చక్రం... శాంతియుతమైన, చైతన్యవంతమైన ప్రగతికి చిహ్నం.

ఇదిలా ఉంటే... కాషాయం స్వచ్ఛతకు, ఆధ్యాత్మికతకు.. తెలుపు శాంతికి, సత్యానికి... ఆకుపచ్చ సాఫల్యతకు, సస్యసమృద్ధికి చిహ్నాలుగా భావిస్తారనే ఒక అనధికారిక అన్వయం కూడా బాగా ప్రచారంలో ఉంది.

"ఝండా ఊంఛా రహే హమారా..." అనే పాటను వినని వారుండరు. ఆ పాటను వింటుంటే భారతీయ హృదయాలు పొంగిపోతాయి. మువ్వన్నెల జెండా రెప రెపలాడుతుంటే చిన్న చిన్న పిల్లలే కాదు, పెద్దవాళ్ళ గుండెలూ సంతోషంతో నిండిపోతాయి. గర్వంగా తలఎత్తి సెల్యూట్‌ చేయాలనిపిస్తుంది.

భారతదేశంలోని ఏ మూలైనా 15 ఆగస్టు, 26 జనవరి నాడు -మువ్వన్నెల జెండా ఎగురవేసి పండుగ చేసుకుంటారు. సంబరాలు జరుపుకుంటారు. ఆ రెండు రోజులూ ప్రభుత్వ సెలవుదినంగా ప్రకటించుకొని, స్వతంత్ర సముపార్జనలో ప్రాణాలొడ్డిన మహనీయులను స్మరించుకుంటారు.

కాగా... ఆధునిక పోకడలో ఎందరో మన జాతీయ జెండా ప్రాముఖ్యాన్ని మరిచిపోతున్నారు. జాతీయ పతాకమే కాదు జాతీయ గీతాన్ని కూడా పాడటం లేదు. ఎవరయినా సరే జాతీయ జెండాను అవమానపరిస్తే కఠిన శిక్ష విధించబడుతుంది. మన రాజ్యాంగంలోని 42వ అధికరణం 4 (ఎ) సవరణ ప్రకారం విధిగా ప్రతిపౌరుడూ భారత జాతీయ జెండాను గౌరవించాలి.

మనం మన భవిష్యత్తరాలకు జాతీయ గీతం, జాతీయ పతాకం విశిష్టతను ప్రాముఖ్యతను చెప్పలేకపోతే, ఎందరో మహానుభావులు తమ ప్రాణాలను ఫణంగా పెట్టి సముపార్జించిన స్వాతంత్య్రానికి విలువలేకుండా పోతుంది.

అందుకే మనం మన జెండా గురించి, జెండా పండుగ గురించి తెలుసుకోవాల్సి ఉంది. మరొకరికి తెలియచెప్పాల్సిన అవసరమూ ఉంది.

ప్రతిమనిషికి

పేరు (గుర్తింపు) అన్నట్లే, దేశానికి గుర్తింపు ఉంటుంది. అదే దేశానికి తొలి ఆనవాలు (గుర్తు) అదే జాతీయ పతాకం అంటే ఆ దేశ సమస్త ప్రజల ఆత్మగౌరవం, గుండెచప్పుడు... వారి సార్వభౌమ అధికారం ఎవరికీ తలవంచని దేశాధ్యక్షుడైనా జాతీయ పతాకానికి తలవంచి నమస్కరించాల్సిందే...!

ఏది ఏమైనా నేడు చాలామంది జాతీయ పతాకానికి సంబంధించిన నిబంధనలు పాటించడం లేదన్నది నగ్నసత్యం. చాలామంది అధికారులు, రాజకీయ నాయకులు సైతం తమ కార్లకు పెట్టుకునే జాతీయ పతాకం దుమ్ముకొట్టుకుపోతున్నా పట్టించుకోరు. మరి కొంతమందయితే, జాతీయ జెండాను క్రింద వేసుకొని మరీ కూర్చుంటున్నారు.

ఇలా మన జాతీయ పతాకాన్ని అగౌరవ పరిచిన వారిపై పోలీసులు సుమోటోగా కేసు నమోదు చేసి శిక్ష పడేట్లు చేయాలి. మన జాతి గౌరవానికి జాతి ఐకమత్యానికి, సార్వభౌమత్వానికి ప్రతీకగా నిలిచే జాతీయ పతాకాన్ని మనం విధిగా గౌరవించాలన్న విషయం మరువకూడదు.

ప్రభుత్వాధికారులు ఈ నిజాన్ని గ్రహించి, ఇప్పటికయినా జాతీయ జెండాను అవమానించే వారిపట్ల కఠినంగా వ్యవహరించాలి. అప్పుడే రేపటి పౌరులైన నేటి బాలలకు జాతీయ పతాకం విశిష్టతను తెలియజెప్పిన వారమౌతాం...!.

జాతీయ పతాకం నియమాలు

ఎందరో వీరుల త్యాగఫలంతో మన దేశానికి విముక్తి లభించిన రోజైన ఆగస్టు 15వ తేదీని "భారత స్వాతంత్ర్య దినోత్సవం"గా జరుపుకుంటున్నాం. జాతి, కులం, మతం, ప్రాంతం అనే తేడాలనేవి లేకుండా ప్రతిఒక్కరూ ఆనందోత్సాహాల నడుమ జరుపుకునే వేడుక "పంద్రాగస్టు పండుగ".

ఈ రోజున పాఠశాలల్లోనూ, ప్రభుత్వ కార్యాలయాల్లోనూ, కళాశాలల్లోనూ... ఇలా రకరకాల చోట్ల మన జాతీయ పతాకాన్ని ఎగురవేసి వేడుకలను జరుపుకోవడం ఆనవాయితీ.

అయితే మన జాతీయ పతాకాన్ని ఎలాబడితే అలా ఎగురవేయకూడదు. దీనికి కూడా కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వం సూచించిన కొన్ని ముఖ్యమైన నియమాలున్నాయి. ఆ నియమాలను ప్రతి ఒక్కరూ తప్పనిసరిగా పాటిస్తూ... "మువ్వన్నెల రెపరెపలు మురిపాలను చిందించేలా" జాతీయ పతాకాన్ని ఎగురవేయాల్సి ఉంటుంది. ఆ నియమాలేంటో ఇప్పుడు చూద్దాం...

జాతీయ పతాకాన్ని కొన్ని స్థలాలలో అన్నిరోజులూ, కొన్ని స్థలాలలో కొన్ని సందర్భాలలో ఎగురవేస్తారు. జాతీయ పతాకం ఎగురవేయడంలో సరియైన పద్దతులు, సంప్రదాయాలు పాటించాలని కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వం కొన్ని సూచనలు జారీ చేసినది. వీటిని "ఫ్లాగ్ కోడ్-ఇండియా"లో పొందు పరిచారు. దీనిలోని ముఖ్యాంశాలు ఇలా ఉన్నాయి.

అధికార పూర్వకంగా ప్రదర్శన కొరకు ఉపయోగించే పతాకం అన్నిసందర్భాలలోనూ "ఇండియన్ స్టాండర్డ్ సంస్థ" నిర్దేశించిన నిర్ధిష్టమైన ఆదేశాలకు కట్టుబడి ఉండి, ఐ.యస్.ఐ మార్కుని కలిగి ఉండాలి. మిగిలిన అనధికార సంధర్భాలలో కూడా సరయిన కొలతలతో తయారైన పతకాలను ఉపయోగించడం సమంజసం.

జాతీయ జెండా కొలతలు : 21'x14'; 12'x8', 6'x4', 3'x2', 9'x6', సైజుల్లో మాత్రమే ఉండాలి. సందర్భాన్ని బట్టి జెండా ఏసైజులో ఉండాలో "ఫ్లాగ్ కోడ్"లో పేర్కొన్నారు. జెండా మధ్యభాగంలో ధర్మచక్రం నేవీ బ్లూ రంగులోనే ఉండాలి.

ధర్మచక్రంలో 24 గీతలు ఉండాలి. జాతీయజెండాని అలంకరణ కోసం వాడకూడదు. అలానే జెండా ఎగురవేసేటప్పుడు ఎట్టి పరిస్థితులలో నేలను తాకకూడదు. జెండాను ఎగురవేసేటప్పుడు వేగంగాను, అవనతం చేసేటప్పుడు మెల్లగానూ దించాలి.

జాతీయ పతాకంలో కాషాయ రంగు అగ్రభాగాన ఉండాలి. సూర్యోదయానంతరం మాత్రమే పతాకం ఎగురవేయాలి. అలాగే సూర్యాస్తమయం కాగానే జెండాను దించేయాలి. పతాకాన్ని ఏవిధమయిన ప్రకటనలకు ఉపయోగించరాదు. అంతేకాక పతాక స్థంభం‌పైన ప్రకటనలను అంటించరాదు, కట్టరాదు.

ప్రముఖనాయకులు, పెద్దలూ మరణించిన సందర్భాలలో సంతాప సూచికంగా జాతీయ పతాకాన్ని అవనతం చేయాలి. జాతీయ పతాకం వాడుకలో ఈ నియమాలన్నీ ప్రతి భారతీయుడూ విధిగా, బాధ్యతగా పాటించాలి. జైహింద్..!

స్వాతంత్ర్యోద్యమ వేడుకలను ఆగస్టు 15 నుండి మళ్లీ వచ్చే ఆగస్టు 15 వరకు నిరభ్యంతరంగా చేసుకోవచ్చు. ఈ ఏడాదిలో ఎప్పుడైనా చేసుకోవచ్చు. ఎన్నిసార్లైనా చేసుకోవచ్చు. ఒక్కరే విడిగా చేసుకోవచ్చు.

అందరూ కలసి ఒకేసారి చేసుకోవచ్చు. అందరూ కలసి ఎన్నిసార్లైనా చేసుకోవచ్చు. ఒకే రోజు చేసుకున్నవారు కూడా అదే రోజు మళ్ళీ చేసుకోవచ్చు. సాధారాణంగా ఆగస్టు 15 రోజున పాఠశాల విద్యార్ధులు ఎటువంటి ఉత్సాహాన్ని చూపుతారో అదే ఉత్సాహాన్ని ప్రతి ఒక్కరూ చూపాలి. అప్పుడే ఈ స్వాతంత్ర్య దినానికి నిండుదనం. అమరులకు అసలైన నీరాజనం.

జనని జన్మభూమిశ్చ,స్వర్గదపి గరియసి ........ అంటూ...... ఏ దేశము వేగినా ఎందు కాలడినా.....పొగడరా నీ తల్లి భూమి భారతిని...నిలపరా నీ జాతి నిండు గౌరవము....

Regional GET TOGETHER

We are planning to have regional GET TOGETHER as it is expected to bring closeness among us.
GLATians who are in chennai are willing to celebrate reunion in a different way. As GET TOGETHER didn't meet the expectations and left silence in the GLAT group.

GET TOGETHER date finalized as 28 Mar 2009

As everyone might have noticed that there is change with date. The change is made for the convenience of GLATians. Many GLATians raised their voice for the date change and GLAT Moderator group decided to go ahead with their decision.

GET TOGETHER should happen in happy moments with sweet memories in mind.
GLATians GET READY as we are all going to have grand party on the day and we(Moderator) group working towards this to make this event a memorable.

Thanks to all who rely on me all these days and supporting my decisions which were planned for the betterment of GLAT world.I wish this support rests with me all the time and Wish you all happy new year 2009.

Grand GLAT GET TOGETHER

GLAT is planning to celebrate one more GET TOGETHER, but this time its going to be mega event in the history of GLAT. GLAT management decided to celebrate its Third GET TOGETHER in the presence of school teachers. We decided to greet school teachers with love and affection.
This time GLAT management is expecting strength of 70 so we planning to have fun filled events. The "organzing committee" members are busy with the event planning and "Invitation committee" members are busy in finalizing the list of school teachers whom we need to invite for the event and "Fund raising committee" members are busy in raising funds for making event successful.

We are all eagerly waiting for the day as it brings happiness to all of us.

GLAT monthly magazine

GLAT(Gals n Guys of Little Angels School, Tirupati) management decided to have monthly magazine, which focuses on the latest updates. It looks strange to have a magazine for an yahoo group with 106 members, does it really needed?.

Answer to the question is "YES", as it is known that GLAT yahoo group is meant for "Oneness". GLAT likes to act as a platform in building good relationship and better communication among friends.

Yesterday its a dream but today it came true, with everyones support we brought all(10th Class) our friends to the friendly and funny group. To share all these happy moments GLAT Owner/Moderator decided to have monthly magazine.

Friends Casual Meet @ Hyderabad

Its a great and thrilling moment among GLATian world, as "Friends Casual Meet" is happening all around the places. Recently the event is celebrated in Hyderabad with fun and teasing.

"Truly speaking it was a wonderful evening to meet and share sweet memories with our good old friends. I know its a bit tough job to make it happen in getting together the actual number of Hyderabad Glatians. Nevertheless, even the less number that attended the meet yesterday were able to make the event happening. The cool comments, jokes, teasing each other, sharing memories all together made that evening wonderful". These are the words said by a GLATian who organized the Hyderabad meet. Kudos to friends who did lot of effort in making this event.

Friends casual meet status updated

Its really happy moment so I thought of sharing the sweet moments of Casual meet details.
Friends casual meet, the concept looks something strange but when it is executed the memories will move around us.The fun in school days and the beauty of life of students.

Friends casual meet is planned to break the silence among the GLATians.Its been more than a decade after finishing school, now its our time to build relationship. I felt this casual meet acts as a bridge in building up the communication between GLATian.

Friends casual meet celebrated successfully in Chennai and Tirupati.The event is still on hold for Hyderabad due to rain and yet to plan the venue/date/time for the Bangalore team.

Friends Casual meet

It is proposed to have "Friends casual meet" regionalwise. Location and date are not yet finalized at few locations. Friends casual meet is just to get closeness among GLATians who haven't attended the GET TOGETHER Party. Casual meet is done in Tirupati among few friends and the web link is provided in GLAT monthly magazine. Aadarana website launched successfully,now It is into the webworld.The views and the proceedings will be shared accordingly with the Aadarana and GLAT members through the webspace.Still it in the process of enhancements as it will take its own time for the changes to be implemented.
